English Village Apartments, a 16-unit building located in Mountain Brook, and Parkview Apartments, a 20-unit property in Homewood, were recently purchased by Historic Properties LLC for the combined price of $3.4 million. Edwin Moss, CCIM, CPM, of J.H. Berry & Gilbert and Brad Cleage, CPM, of J.H. Berry Multi-Family represented the seller and assisted the buyer, Steve Watkins of Historic Properties, in the transactions. Brad was quoted in an article by the Birmingham Business Journal, stating that the purchase is representative of the Birmingham area’s steady growth in the multifamily market. Read article.
