As an active member of the Birmingham community, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in local organizations’ community events over the past few months. Most recently, team members enjoyed supporting the Alabama Wildlife Federation in the Wild Game Cook Off and hosting our own friends and family at the J.H. Berry Dove Hunt.
Alabama Wildlife Federation’s Wild Game Cook Off
On Thursday, Sept. 24 members of the J.H. Berry team participated in the Alabama Wildlife Federation’s Wild Game Cook Off. Approximately 15 teams from around the Birmingham area gathered at Railroad Park for live music, a silent auction and the chance to compete for the title of “best wild game dish in Birmingham.” Our team members enjoyed cooking and competing in this fun and delicious event, which helped raise funds for various AWF projects and educational outreach programs.
J.H. Berry Dove Hunt
Members of the J.H. Berry team were happy to spend a beautiful afternoon outside with family and friends enjoying games, skeet practice, delicious barbecue, and an exciting and lively dove hunt at the Alabama River Lodge in Sardis, Ala., on September 17. Thank you to all who were able to attend and spend a successful day of hunting and fun with us.
