Jake Taylor
Jake Taylor, leasing and brokerage associate at J.H. Berry & Gilbert, specializes in office leasing and sales and has represented a wide variety of clients that include several of Alabama’s most successful professional firms and industry leaders. Jake also handles landlord leasing for several Class-A office buildings in three Alabama cities, giving him exposure to market activity across most of the state. Jake’s emphasis on local market knowledge along with his experience working on complex real estate transactions allows him to provide for his clients at the highest level.
Career Experience & Accomplishments
Prior to joining J.H. Berry, Jake assisted in the development of the Sports Architecture Group, GMC Sports, for Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood, in Birmingham. Jake was in charge of business development and marketing strategy for the Sports Division and was involved in securing projects totaling over $50 million in construction volume.
In 2019, Jake was named a Rising Star in Real Estate and Construction by the Birmingham Business Journal.

Community Engagement
Jake is an active member of the Birmingham Rotaract Club, the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) Alabama Chapter, and is an active Board Member for The Phoenix Club of Birmingham which benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Central Alabama. Jake is also a member of Mountain Brook Community Church. Jake enjoys hunting anything in season, playing golf, watching Auburn Football and spending time with his wife, Lawler and their young son Mack.
