Jennifer Mummert, CPA, chief financial officer at JH Berry, manages the firm’s financial infrastructure. She balances all aspects of accounting for the firm in addition to assisting with financial transactions and supporting human resource-related functions.
Career Experience & Accomplishments
Prior to joining JH Berry, Jennifer served as an audit manager for a regional public accounting firm where she specialized in assisting construction contractors, a special-interest publisher and various organizations within the nonprofit sector.
Education
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in business administration from Auburn University with a specialization in accounting. In 2008, Jennifer received her Certified Public Accountant designation from the state of Alabama.
Community Engagement
Jennifer is actively involved in a number of charitable and civic organizations, including The Service Guild, Birmingham CREW and Junior Achievement of Alabama. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, being outdoors and entertaining. Jennifer and her husband, Michael, have three children, Caroline, Cate and William and are members of Trinity United Methodist Church.
