Joe Saling, property manager, brings 30 years of hospitality and property management experience to JH Berry. He specializes in developing strong partnerships with owners, tenants and vendors. His work consists of developing operating and capital budgets, tracking vacancies and overseeing the vast number of projects and systems to maintain property conditions and assets. He schedules, supervises and directs activities of maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure timely repair. He also conducts property inspections to ensure optimal working order and condition.
Career Experience & Accomplishments
Prior to joining JH Berry, Joe served as the director of visitor experience for Vulcan Park and Museum, where he managed the facilities team, guest services and group events. Prior to that Joe was part of the opening team for the Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort and the Grand Bohemian Mountain Brook. He also spent time with Biltmore Estate and Gaylord Hotel in Nashville, TN.
Education
Joe graduated from Murray State University in Murray, KY.
Interests
An active member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, serving on the Parish Council and Service Pillar Committee. Joe enjoys participating in various men’s small groups and volunteers with the Alabama Rivers Alliance. When away from work, Joe enjoys kayaking, biking, running and tending to his apiary.
