In November 2017, IberiaBank purchased a vacant office building located at 2000 International Park for $13.5 million. Philip Currie, SIOR, CCIM, president at J.H. Berry, was involved in the transaction, which recently was featured as one of the Birmingham Business Journal’s Commercial Real Estate Deals of the Year for 2017. The building will be IberiaBank’s new regional headquarters and corporate operations center, as bank leadership anticipates growing from 225 employees to more than 350in the coming years.
